As a recovering shopaholic, it is borderline painful to not indulge in the handmade loveliness that is on etsy. Here is my version of window shopping: mouse booties

I finally did it!
I finally bit the bullet and opened an etsy store.
ummashin.etsy.com
I only have a few items up, but I'm darn proud of myself right now (pat on back).
If y'all have any suggestions, let me know. In the meantime, check it out, and don't forget to tell your friends!

Pink Dress
Made the buttons too.
Today I will do nothing crafty. Apparently I've been crocheting to the point where the hubster, familiar with my fiendish ways, became worried for my health. What a sweetie. Let's see if I can actually pull it off (the crafty urge is somewhat appeased by my latest obsession - ravelry.com).

Blankie
Much like mamabear's skull-and-crossbones sweater for babybear, this is the project whose completion I felt was not a part of my lifetime reality.
I started this blanket before N was born hoping to have it in the crib for her homecoming. She was born two weeks early and I kept putting off working on it. I decided (seven and a half months later) that I didn't want to start the New Year without finishing the blasted thing, so that is how I spent New Year's Eve. I have to say the combination of pride and relief is weirdly and inappropriately overwhelming, but...IT IS FINISHED! Woot Woot!
