FO Wednesday...happy Hiney

Finished Hine for my favorite little monster:
This is the second sweater I completed for the Summer Sweater KAL hosted by luvinthemommyhood. The Vintage by Berocco yarn was soft to begin with, but after blocking is super squishy.
Noelle loves it, can you tell?
I knit a size 5 but the yarn grew when blocked so it turned out more tunic-y, which Noelle prefers anyway.
I love the lace pattern...just enough fuss for this little gal.

Mini-me chose the buttons from my stash.
Of course, the little one had to barge in and join the party...
 Not that anyone minded.

Happy Wednesday everyone!

tiny knits!

Finally cast on HINE for Noelle.
This is the first time I've used Berroco Vintage and it's so nice to work with. Noelle chose this color over pink! Shocker.
Four friends of mine are pregnant and due within the next two months.
All four of them found out they are pregnant with girls.
This is my go-to gift, but this is the first time I've used non-acrylic. It's Knitpicks Comfy Worsted and I can't say enough about this yarn. Super soft, works up easily and the colors are so vibrant. Love:

I also rescued Rosie the "ro-vot" from the depths of the storage bin.
Hopefully she'll be finished in time for Christmas.

Aurora Cowl

The "Mallory Cowl" by Shannon of luvinthemommyhood is one of those classic patterns that you know you will be knitting again and again. It provides a great base for experimenting with yarn and since it calls for two strands of worsted I feel like the possibilities are endless!
I've knit this before but in honor of her pattern becoming available on Knitpicks (congrats, girl!). I didn't have any Knitpicks yarn on hand so I knit this beauty up in Lion Brand Amazing, a wool acrylic blend with lots of fun color options.
Isn't it pretty?
My parents and brother's family were in town, which is why I had time to knit this.
Everyone tried it on, including this guy:
I personally can attest to its squooshy fuzzy wonderfulness.

My mommy snatched it up and I think it looks pretty great on her.
Happy Labor Day!
